Not a full recap right now, but wow, what a weekend. We actually finished with about an hour or so to spare, mainly for good measure. There was definitely things I would have liked to have changed had we had more time, but overall, I’m very happy for accomplishing so much goodness in 48 hrs. Our cast and crew were amazing and everything came together really well. Strange when things just work like that.

It will be screened at the 20th Century Theatre in Oakley on Sunday, June 22. We are in Group A with eleven other teams and our group o’ movies will show between noon and 2:30 PM, i believe. Tickets are $10. (’tis thirty bucks to stay all day, to watch all the films from all four groups - 47 movies total).
It features starring roles by the lovely Sarah Schaefer, Theresa Giancobbe-Esposito and that bubble machine wieldin’, folk music singin’, Billy Catfish!!!!!! They all did an excellent job and really blew us away. seriously, FACES. ROCKED. OFF! not to mention, some surprise cameos with familiar heads.
It features the music of local bands: The Turnbull AC’s, Billy Catfish & Lisa Walker, Moon High from Dayton/Columbus, and the Duke of the Dunes himeself, Yusef Quotah.
It was filmed in Rabbit Hash, KY and Zip’s in Mt. Lookout.
The 20th Century Theatre is located at 3021 Madison Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45209.

i’m participating in 48 hr film challenge this weekend. i’m excited and i think it will be a great time, but not looking forward to not sleeping at all. i’ll probably be updating my twitter account along the way.
also, just saw this new video from jukebox the ghost the other day and thought it was very well done. the only part that annoys me is the filter that they put on top of it, but it doesn’t detract that much from it.

It’s sort of ridiculous how obsessed I am with Deadliest Catch. Considering most TV I don’t care about these days, I’m actually excited for the new season of this. I have a feeling I’ll be away from a TV when they air, but I’m hoping Discovery either replays them constantly or puts them online. It feels like the only shows I watch or care about anymore are Deadliest Catch and No Reservations. I don’t know if it’s everyones cup of tea, but I’m so intrigued by the danger, the camaraderie, the sea, the crab, the risk… all of it fascinates me and I never find it boring.
MTV’s Subterranean blog posted the Jukebox the Ghost WOXY video a couple of days ago. It’s not quite like being aired but still surprises me a bit…
